Summer at Lake Neusiedlersee means a Pannonian climate, more than 2000 hours of sunshine per year and water temperatures of up to 30 degrees. Due to its location, the lake offers perfect conditions for sailing and windsurfing. The "Sea of the Viennese", as the lake is often called, is not only popular for its water sports, but also for its unique nature. The most western steppe lake in Europe boasts a unique flora and fauna.

About 500km of cycling paths, numerous hiking trails and golf courts around the lake invite you to fully enjoy the summer. Various cultural highlights, such as the Mörbisch Lakeside Festival or the Operetta Festival in St. Margarethen, make for a great program in the Neusiedlersee region.
